Beverly Hills MARKETWatch, 13 New Homes & 5 Condos For Sale and 5 Properties Sold the Past 7 day

It is only the middle of August, and today is the first day of the school semester for the Los Angeles Unified School district. That seems extraordinarily early to me. A long time ago, I graduated from LAUSD, and we always began the semester in September after Labor Day. Times have certainly changed. What happened to summer vacation?

There are some very interesting new listings this week. The estate on Alpine Drive is the site of the original homesteaders who moved to the area which would become the city of Beverly Hills. Also, there is a parcel of land, more like a mountain top that has come on the market in the BHPO area with an asking price of $1 Billion!

Here are the three new listings that I am highlighting this week. You can find the expanded information sheets and photos of these listings by clicking on the "Highlighted Properties".

633 N. Trenton Drive, Beverly Hills 90210

The first highlighted property is a traditional-style home located in the prime Beverly Hills Flats north of Santa Monica Blvd. This two-story home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and features a formal living room, a den, a large master suite and a gourmet kitchen, for a total of 5,553 square feet. The home is on a 16,661 square-foot lot with a swimming pool, a cabana, a gym/massage room and an expansive backyard. Asking price for this Beverly Hills Flats home is $7,900,000.

901 N. Alpine Drive, Beverly Hills 90210

The second highlighted property is a French Chateau located on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Alpine Blvd., the location of the first home in Beverly Hills. This two-story estate has ten bedrooms and fifteen and one half bathrooms and features a massive master suite, a fitness center, a game room, a screening room, a spa and a Creston system, for a massive total of 24,977 square feet. The home is on a 67,151 square-foot lot with a swimming pool, a grand motor court and a 3-bedroom guest house. The asking price for this Beverly Hills estate is $80,000,000.

1652 Tower Grove, BHPO 90210

1652 Tower Grove, BHPO 90210

The third highlighted property is a plot of land with unobstructed panoramic views from downtown to the ocean located in the Beverly Hills Post Office (BHPO) area. This undeveloped parcel of land is a staggering 157 acres including 32 contiguous flat acres. There is nothing else like this on the market. Build an estate or create a new gated community. The opportunities are endless. Asking price for this BHPO parcel is $1 Billion!
