The Los Angeles Marathon was run this past Sunday for the 33rd consecutive year. The annual race began after the 1984 Olympics were held in Los Angeles, and the route is still very similar to the Olympics run. The route starts at Dodger Stadium and winds up at the Santa Monica Pier. Part of the route goes through Beverly Hills and down Rodeo Drive. In fact it was necessary for me to meet someone at a prospective home instead of my office near Rodeo Drive, as it was almost impossible to access. At least, I won’t have to worry about such a problem until next year.
