As a true Angelino, this week I must give tribute to the Los Angeles Dodger’s announcer, Vin Scully, who is retiring this week after a 67-year career beginning in Brooklyn. Truly extraordinary. Imagine. If you began working for a new employer today, you would have to stay employed by them until the year 2083 to reach 67 years. Extraordinary. On a personal note, his son sat behind me in English class, when we both attended Palisades High School back in 1978. And yes, his son both looked and sounded like his father. :)
