Beverly Hills MARKETWatch, 21 New Homes & 3 Condos Listed and 8 Properties Sold in the Last 7 Da

I believe that today is the Ides of March. A meaning for another time.

This past week I have been helping a first-time buyer purchase her new home. She is currently renting and has been looking for a new place to move. As a result of the shortage of rental properties in our area which is creating a spike in rents, we discovered something quite interesting and eye-opening. The monthly total for mortgage, HOA dues and property taxes will be lower than her monthly rent. Imagine that. Of course, low interest rates and a down payment contribute to what is occurring.

This week there are quite a number of new listings that have come on the market as we approach spring.

Here are the three new listings in the Beverly Hills area that I am highlighting this week. You can find the expanded information sheets and photos of these listings by clicking on the "Highlighted Properties".

The first new listing this week is a traditional-style home located in the Beverly Hills Post Office (BHPO) area. This single-story home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and features hardwood floors and an expansive open floor plan, for a total of 2,809 square feet. The home is on a large 84,460 square foot lot with a swimming pool, a detached guest house and fruit trees. Asking price for this BHPO home is $2,099,000.
