The Academy Awards were held in Hollywood Sunday night. Streets in the area did not reopen until yesterday. That means that some roadways were closed for up to nine days, for a three hour event. I was thinking about it and that seems like an awful long time for street closures. It certainly can affect the businesses in the area.
