We are almost halfway through April, and we are in the middle of the dreaded Tax Week. I call it Tax Week, because many taxes are due this week. Los Angeles County property tax semi-annual payments were due yesterday, April 10th. Furthermore, federal and state income tax filings for 2016 and any amounts owed are due next Monday, April 17th. And if that isn’t enough, first quarter estimated federal and state income tax payments for 2017 are also due this coming Monday. Way too many taxes, if you ask me.
