While I was looking at new listings today on our Broker’s caravan, I had viewed a home next door to the home where I grew up. As I walked into the home, I remembered the original owners (the home was built in 1973), and I remembered that when I was 13 or 14 years old, I had babysat their children. It was also interesting to see the reaction of the listing agent when I told him what the original selling price was. Anyway, onto this week’s activity.

1) 13470 FIRTH DRIVE (16-152882)

The last highlighted listing this week is a traditional-style home located in the prime Beverly Hills flats north of Santa Monica Blvd. This two-story home has six bedrooms and five and one half bathrooms and features a huge master suite and an amazing paneled den, for a total of 5,626square feet. The home is on a 15,220 square-foot lot with lush grounds and a detached studio with a bathroom. The purchase price for this Beverly Hills flats home is $7,995,000.
