The holiday weekend definitely had a slowing effect on the real estate market. It almost seemed like a vacation weekend with very few open houses on Sunday and a limited number of new listings during the week. There should be a noticeable increase this coming week.
Meanwhile, mortgage interest rates are now at a three-year low, with rates well below 4% for 30-year fixed loans.
