We are still experiencing summer-like weather, although, technically, it is the dead of winter. I know there is a good reason why I love living here. The Academy Awards ceremony is going to be aired this coming Sunday. In preparation for the event, streets in the Hollywood area are already closed until next Monday. I have been here for many years, and I do not recall streets being closed so far in advance. Furthermore, there will be an influx of people coming into town for the event, which has the potential for an interesting real estate weekend. I already see that there is an increased number of open houses scheduled for this coming Sunday.
